Private Label Blueprint for 2019
Our Private Label Blueprint course opens up in less than a week. Still not sure what the course will cover? We go over that and some Bonus offers in this episode of the Amazon Seller Podcast! Make sure you are signed up by January 11 and get ready for the show!
Andy: Thanks again for joining us here at the Amazing Freedom Amazon Seller Podcast. I’m actually in my warehouse. I’m bringing a new product to the Amazon marketplace in a few days. So, I’m working on getting that shipment out. I’m just as excited about selling on Amazon now as I was when I first started five years ago. And I still believe the amazing opportunity you and I have to sell on Amazon is unbelievable. I seriously feel when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I’m living a dream because of how much fun I have selling on Amazon.
We hope that if you are selling private label products, your products are doing well. And if you’re interested in selling private label products, you’ll check out our Private Label Blueprint course that we’re launching right now. We offer this course two times a year, once in June, and then again in January, and so the course is open right now.
Why Our Course is Different Than Most Courses
I’m such a big believer in what we do with our members in the inner circle. One of the reasons I love our Private Label Blueprint course more than any other course that’s out there is that the three of us actually answer every single question a member of our course asks. And usually, we’ll answer it within 15 minutes. But the biggest reason I like about our courses is, as new people begin to private label, we will actually evaluate their products. I don’t know any other course out there or any other mentoring group that does that for their students.
So we’re excited again about this upcoming launch and we’re actually doing something that we’ve never done before. We’re going to do 12 weeks of live training. We’re calling it the Amazing Freedom Private Label Boot Camp. And so you’re going to have an opportunity not only to watch the digital videos that we’ve made about how to launch a product on Amazon. You’re going to have an opportunity to watch us live for 12 straight weeks.
The Power of Mentorship
Nathan: Thanks, Andy. I mean, we often talk about how we don’t just talk about this on our show each week. We actually are bringing new products, all three of us, to the marketplace on a monthly basis between the three of us. So really cool to hear you bagging and tagging back there with your helpers. A and just kind of seeing, what we do every single week when we do this. And we try to put out a lot of free content.
But I think all of our listeners know we have several services that we talk about on the show as well. And then we do have this Private Label Blueprint course, which is really a mentorship training. Our Inner Circle group for those who are kind of looking for that higher level community and training environment to be part of. So, yeah, we’re really excited about this 12-week boot camp. We’ve never done anything like this. We’ve had our course. But we haven’t had where we go through the entire thing and everything new together through a 12-week process. Doing lots of live training.
So Liran, maybe you can walk us through some of the top things that we’re going to go through on this Bootcamp training. So people can have an idea of what they can expect when they come into the course and the Inner Circle group. Just some of the new stuff for 2019 that we’ll be covering.
And then for anyone who does want to join us, you can go to www.amazing freedom.com/join. This week, there you can get access to this boot camp is about to cover in a ton of other bonuses and things that we won’t take the time to cover here. But there’s a lot there. You can see it all at amazingfreedom.com/join. All right, Liran, let us know about that boot camp.
Liran: Yeah. And, one thing I want to add is, that whether or not this is something that interests you, you shouldn’t, you should listen to this entire podcast episode. And the reason is that what I’m going to go through now is the type of training that we’re going to be doing within our group. But this is also a great step-by-step blueprint for everything you should be doing in your private label business. Whether or not you join, our course and learn the training and methods that we teach or not. You should be following this plan and strategy for launching and having success with your product.
Course Topics Outline
Week 1: Pre-Training/Warm-Up
This is really designed for people that have not sold on Amazon before.
Week 1 Private Label Blueprint Course Concepts include:
- Setting up seller central
- Understanding best seller rank competition, chrome extensions,
- Barcodes, UPC exemptions, FNSKUs.
- Requesting multiple Amazon accounts, some basic accounting for Amazon.
We often get asked from people who listened to our course regularly. “Hey, my friend, Joe is interested in selling on Amazon, but he’s never sold before. He’s never been on Amazon, but he’s interested in getting into private label. Is your course a good fit?” And so we’ve added this component for exactly those types of people. So probably not, our core audience who listens, who already sells on Amazo. But this is for people who may have not sold before. And it’s really sort of the basics of getting started.
Week 2: How to Find Private Label Products
It’s kind of Week 1 if you’re already selling on Amazon, which is how to find private label products. Finding private label products is the biggest struggle. But also the most important thing in your private label business. The reason why it’s the biggest struggle is that it’s a starting point. And it’s where people get caught up in overthinking and too much paralysis by analysis. So what we do is give you our blueprint for how to find private label products.
Week 2 Private Label Blueprint Course Concepts include:
- Amazon Catalog Review
- Software Tools for Searching the Catalog
- Product Discover Tools by Viral Launch
- Planning Products & Research Differentiation
- Trademarks, Patent Research, etc.
We really believe that 80 percent of your success is based on launching the right product. And chances are that a 90 to 100 percent of your problems, within private label will be because you sourced and started with the wrong product.
Week 3: Vetting Products and Finding Suppliers
So, you’ve come up with a list, you’ve learned, you’ve come up with a list of 10 or 20 potential products. How do you then decide which product do I want to focus on? Which product do I want to launch first? Which of these ideas has the best chance of success?
Week 3 Private Label Blueprint Course Concepts include:
- Private Label Product Evaluation Guide
- Figuring Out Main Keywords
- Search Volume Review
- How to Find Suppliers
- Market Intelligence
- Negotiating Pricing Tactics
- Sourcing & Importing
Again, this is 80 percent of success. So we put a lot of focus on this because if you’ve attempted private label, and maybe didn’t have the success. I can tell you, most likely it’s because of the product. And it’s either the product you source or the product quality. And so understanding talking to suppliers as well as, criteria, inspections, all the things you should be doing along the way.
Week 4: Managing the Downtime – Creating Your Listing
So, you’re gonna order a product, and then you’re going to have production time and shipping time, time for the product to get into Amazon. And what do you do during that downtime?

Week 9 Private Label Blueprint Course Concepts include:
Over these nine sessions, we’re really going to go in depth from A to Z in terms of a successful launch of a product.
- 1) From the ideation stage of how to generate that idea all the way to creating an amazing listing, great photos, great copy.
- 2) A product launch strategy, and how to give you the best chance of success on Amazon. Webinars are all recorded and you’ll have access to them.
Nathan: Awesome. Well, I really hope that everybody that is a regular listener enjoys just the free content that we put out each week. But we do open this up for those who are looking to get that kind of private mentorship and a group format together. And if you go to www.amazingfreedom.com/join, you can actually see not just the blueprint of the boot camp that Liran just talked about and laid out. You can actually see all the different bonuses.
I think we have 10 different bonuses are on there in case somebody’s out there thinking to themselves, Yeah, I don’t necessarily need the private label course. I kind of already know what I’m doing. We wanted the bonuses alone that we’re including to be worth the cost of admission into the course. Okay.
So we put together the most comprehensive bonus package that we’ve ever put together, all of that can be seen@that www.amazingfreedom.com/join. And this will be open until January 11th.
So for those who are listening during the time, of our open enrollment period, once January 11th rolls around, we’re going to be full steam ahead into that boot camp and training and really just trying to, trying to increase the chances of success for our members as much as possible by just giving our full attention to that boot camp training.
Answering every single question, evaluating guides. And just trying to make that group a really awesome environment. So we appreciate everybody that’s in here on this training. No matter what you decide to do. We hope that you continue to follow us. And enjoy this podcast that we continue to plan to put out every single week.
Liran, I think you actually wanted to announce a special guest that we’re going to have coming up on episode either in the next week or two. We really think is going to be valuable for people as we head into 20, 19 and kind of a changing landscape as far as Amazon goes.
Liran: In a few weeks we are excited to have Paul Rafelson of eCommerce Attorneys on the podcast in just a couple of weeks. We’re gonna be talking about sales tax. That’s been a hot topic. Especially if you’re one of the many people, including myself, who got a letter from California about sales tax and about registering. You’ll want to listen to this podcast episode because we really are going to, dissect this entire issue of sales tax and get an expert opinion on it.
